I have never heard of National Burger Day until recently. Although, I am not complaining about a holiday that lets me indulge in one of my guilty pleasures: burgers. I wish I could justify all my other cravings with a national holiday as well. But, in the meantime, I’ll take what I can get! Gainesville has a ton of burger places and it can be a little overwhelming to choose one, so I’ve compiled a little list of my personal favorites! Hope that these places can hit the spot!
Relish
Relish is a huge hit in Gainesville. The thing that makes Relish stand out from all the other burger joints is the ability to customize your burger however you want. They have an immense variety of fresh toppings to ensure sure that you can create your dream burger. Not to mention, Relish was voted the must-try burger of 2014!

Loosey’s
Loosey’s burgers is a classic burger spot located in downtown Gainesville. They have different specials every day of the week from discounted burgers to winning bar tabs in trivia! Best of all, they offer $6 beef burgers & fries on Wednesday’s from 4 – 9 p.m. This place is great to catch some live music, karaoke, or play trivia with your friends. Loosey’s is that perfect balance of beer, burgers and fun!
They are located at 120 SW 1st Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601
The Top
The Top is a staple restaurant in Gainesville culture. This restaurant is known for its big menu and its vegan/vegetarian options. It is also ranked a solid four stars on both Yelp and Google reviews. Their burgers are consistently amazing and the hipster atmosphere is the cherry on top (or bun, in this case).
Their restaurant is at 30 N. Main St, Gainesville, FL 32601
