Due to Tropical Storm Eta, facilities in Alachua County like libraries and pools will be closed tomorrow, November 12.
City facilities like city pools, offices and public schools will be closed tomorrow. A decision about Friday’s (November 13) closures have not been established yet.
The Alachua County Library District issued a statement on November 11: ” Gov. Ron DeSantis has issued a state of emergency order for multiple counties, including Alachua County. If local conditions permit, all branches will resume current services, including limited browsing hours and computer appointments, at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13. Online services remain available at www.aclib.us.”
