Watch These Fourth of July Shows Online This Weekend

Because of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, your Fourth of July festivities might look a little different this year. The good news is that while many festivities have been canceled, there are a few options for watching bright and patriotic Fourth of July shows online or on TV! Here is a list of virtual shows for you to enjoy from home this weekend!

 

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks

This New York City tradition will go on like it does every year, but you will be able to view it virtually! The beautiful fireworks will be choreographed with an “epic musical score,” according to Macy.com. You won’t want to miss this show, and you can watch it this Saturday, July 4, on NBC from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. It will also be available to stream on platforms associated with NBC.

 

North Port Freedom Fireworks

This firework show will take place in North Port, Florida, but you can watch it virtually from home! On Saturday at 8 p.m., tune into the North Port Parks & Rec Facebook page to watch the show live!

 

A Capitol Fourth, Washington D.C.

This annual firework show will continue in D.C. over the National Mall! This will be the 40th anniversary of A Capitol Fourth, and it will be hosted by John Stamos and Vanessa Williams. The show will include a handful of other guests as well, so you don’t want to miss it! The show will air on PBS, Saturday, July 4,  at 8 p.m. You can also stream in on Facebook and PBS.org

 

Red, White and OSO Blue

OSO Brass Ensemble will put on a concert this Saturday from 3-4 p.m. The concert will include tunes like Battle Hymn of the Republic, Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, American Revolutionary War Medley, and a special tribute to the Armed Forces, according to the event’s Facebook page.
