It’s time for a little self-care! While the world seems to be in shambles around us, it is important that we take some time to ourselves to relax, destress and remember that everything will be okay. So, here are some easy DIY Body Scrubs to make while you are at home so you can have that at-home spa night of your dreams.

Brown Sugar and Avocado Oil

Mix 1/2 cup of Avocado oil with 2/3 cup of brown sugar

Avocado oil is full of antioxidants, potassium and lecithin, all beneficial for moisturizing the skin and soothing irritation from eczema and psoriasis, according to Medical News Today. The brown sugar will gently buff away any dry skin, leaving your skin soft and glowy.

Cinnamon and Honey

Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with 3/4 tablespoon of cinnamon.

This cleansing scrub is great for those who suffer from acne. The ant-bacterial properties of honey help balance out the presence of bacteria on your skin, according to Healthline. Honey and cinnamon are both natural exfoliators that will leave your skin feeling supple and cleansed. For sensitive skin: Try using honey by itself to cleanse your face and body if you find that the addition of cinnamon is too abrasive on your skin.

White Sugar, Coconut Oil and Coffee Grounds

Mix 1 cup of white sugar with 1 cup of coconut oil and add in fresh or old coffee grounds (about 1/3 of a cup)

This easy scrub is great for whole body exfoliation. The coconut oil will nourish and moisturize the skin while the coffee grounds add a jolt of caffeine. “It’s thought that the caffeine in coffee is the key to cellulite reduction by dilating blood vessels beneath the skin and improving overall blood flow,” according to Healthline. When using this scrub, concentrate the scrub around areas you want to tighten. Let the scrub sit on your skin for at least 10 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
