The High Springs Farmers Market got a new home this month! A new pavilion was constructed to house the farmers market, and the grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place on October 27 at 2:30 p.m.

According to the market’s Facebook page, there will be special guests at the ribbon-cutting event, including the High Springs Mayor Byran Williams, State Representatives Clovis Watson and Chuck Clemons, the Newberry Watermelon Queen and more! There will be light refreshments served at the event.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be a full farmers market for all to enjoy. Please bring a face mask to the event and practice social distancing when possible.

The High Springs Farmers Market usually takes place on Fridays from 3-7 p.m.
