Happy St. Patty’s Day! Are you ready to celebrate the luck of  the Irish? If you are saving your night out for Friday, we have some fun ways you can celebrate at home or with friends around the fire all weekend long!

Color Your Beer

Green beer is a fan favorite during St. Patty’s day! Did you know that you could make it at home? All you need is your favorite beer and green gel food coloring! This works well with a lighter beer so that the color shines through. Add 2 drops of green food coloring to the bottom of your glass and pour beer into the glass. The color will naturally mix into the beer as your pour. Sit back and enjoy your green beer with some homemade Shepherd’s Pie (or frozen, we don’t judge).

Explore Irish Music

Turn on some real Irish music to get into the St. Patty’s Day spirit! Here is a list of groups that will get you pumped up — even when you are home alone!

  1. The Chieftains
  2. Dropkick Murphys
  3. Flogging Molly
  4. Celtic Woman

Make Your Own Shamrock Shake

Shamrock Shakes are a taste of childhood! All you need are a few ingredients to make this magical dessert.

Blend all of the ingredients in a high powered blender for about 20 seconds or until it is smooth. Add more milk, more ice cream and more mint for your desired thickness and taste. Pour into 4 glasses, top with whipped cream and add a cherry on top. Enjoy!
