The gym is now open.

Hours starting May 19:

GHF Main: 6 a.m.-11 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. weekends
GHF Tioga: 6 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday
GHF Women 9 a.m.-12 p.m. weekdays for seniors only (men and women) through May 31

Alachua County Library District

Starting Wednesday, May 13, curbside service will be available Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at all branches.

Please follow these steps to check out materials with this service:

  • Place holds for books, DVDs, and other materials online at www.aclib.us/catalog or call your preferred branch. Be sure to select which branch you would like to pick up from.
  • You will receive a notification when your items are ready. Bring your library card or photo identification when you go to pick up your library materials.
  • Call your library branch when you arrive to alert library staff that you are ready to pick up your items.
  • Library employees will bring your materials out to you, please have your library card or photo identification ready to show them. Patrons are encouraged to wear face masks or coverings when interacting with staff.
  • No returns will be accepted curbside in person. Please use book drops for returns. Items will be quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in for circulation.

Florida State Parks

“DEP has implemented phase one to reopen the Florida State Parks. As these parks are re-opening, DEP will be taking measures to ensure the protection of staff and the public. During this early phase of re-opening, visitors should expect limited hours, capacity and amenities. Portions of these parks and trails have been identified that can be reopened for day-use with limited risk to visitors and staff. To reduce risk, cash transactions are limited to exact change.” – Florida State Parks Website

Local parks, Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, O’Leno State Park, Gainesville to Hawthorne State Trail, Dudley Farm Historic State Park and Devil’s Millhopper Geological State Park are all reopened.

Restaurants 

According to Emergency Order No. 2020-21, restaurants are “responsible for ensuring that appropriate social distancing be followed. Restaurants may open at 25% occupancy but, as set forth in the Governor’s Executive Order 20-112, must follow appropriate social distancing in seating.”

Museums

“Private museums, libraries, botanical gardens and wildlife preserves may reopen at 25% of their capacity, but shall not allow any use of interactive displays or playground equipment,” according to Emergency Order No. 2020-21.

St. Johns County Beaches

Beaches are now open with no restrictions on time or activities, according to Visit St. Augustine. On-beach driving is still prohibited.
