It’s official! The XX and XX will be facing off at Super Bowl LVIII 2024, which will be broadcast live on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. If you’re anything like me, the Super Bowl is synonymous with good food. I grew up waiting for the Super Bowl to come around because of the food my dad would get. Now that I’m here in Gainesville, away from home, I have to find a new way to enjoy the event. So, where can we watch Super Bowl 2024?
Here are some bars and restaurants offering deals to help you have the perfect Sunday Night Football set-up when you watch Super Bowl 2024:
Miller’s Ale House
Listed as having more than 60 TVs at its Gainesville location, Ale House is a classic restaurant chain you can count on to fulfill all your chicken wing, burger, French fry and beer cravings. Right now, the chain-restaurant is taking reservations for $25 per person which will then be applied to your check on game day.
Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille
If you’re going to do the Super Bowl, you’ve got to do it right. Legendary 1966 University of Florida quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Steve Spurrier knows a thing or two about football. What better way to spend Super Bowl Sunday than with a man who spent a decade playing in the NFL? Spurrier’s Gridiron Grill is celebrating all day on February 13th starting with an extensive collection of cocktails for brunch and then a Coach Spurrier meet-and-greet at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by going to the restaurant’s website.
The Social at Midtown
Located directly across from the University of Florida campus, this restaurant and bar is having a Super Bowl watch party that starts at 5 p.m. According to its Facebook page, they’re offering discounted drinks and appetizers in honor of the big day. Items like $4.99 pretzels and beer cheese, $3 craft drafts, $5 domestic drafts, $2 Fireball shots and more are listed on the page. A very open space with pool tables, TVs, old-school arcade games and a rooftop bar are some of the amenities; there’s something for everyone!
No matter which team you’re rooting for, you’ll end the night a winner thanks to the restaurants and bars both on and off this list. Because if there’s one thing the people of Gainesville know how to do, it’s watch football.
