The United Way of North Central Florida is teaming up with the North Central Florida Community Foundation to support the community during the COVID-19 pandemic with their North Central Florida Cares initiative.

They’re using the platform for one of their biggest fundraisers, The Amazing Give, to house this new relief fund and raise as much money as they can for Floridians.

According to the North Central Florida Cares website, it is a “community relief fund designed to strategically deploy resources to local organizations working to serve and support residents of North Central Florida during times of crisis.”

To make a difference and give a donation to The United Way for NCF Cares, you can visit their site now. Questions regarding the fund should be directed to office@cfncf.org.

The United Way is also helping the community by working the 211 phone lines on the front lines of the pandemic. Expert 211 specialists can provide real-time information on social services and other resource to those in need, according to their website. If you want to access this information or if you know someone struggling during this time, call 211 or (352) 332-4636, or text your zip code to 898-211.
