Universal Orlando Resort shared plans with the Orange County Economic Recovery Task Force to reopen the theme park.
Mayor Demings, Orlando mayor, started the meeting by announcing that he received a copy of the park’s reopening plans.
Universal Orlando will reopen on June 1, staff will be able to enter the park on June 2 and on June 3 and 4, the park will welcome pass-holders and invited guests. Finally, on June 5, the park will be open to the public, as reported by Insidethemagic.com.
Park-goers will be required to follow certain guidelines, such as wearing face masks, social distancing, getting temperature checks and creating a touch-free experience. Check-in with universalorlando.com to stay updated.
